Job Description

The Representation & Widening Participation Project Coordinator will have extensive knowledge of project management along with a passion for widening participation work, and supporting students to become effective representatives.

The representation project will be to develop and maintain the Academic Representative systems. This includes administering elections, supporting and training elected reps to make a difference to the students on their courses, and working with members of the University to implement and improve the system. The main widening participation event the role will work on, is the annual Shadowing Scheme; the project management of the event includes the delivery of the event from formation, recruitment of participants and volunteers, liaising with each of the participant colleges, and delivering the in-person event.

The successful applicant will be an essential member of the Democracy and Representation Team.
