Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Research and Insight to join our Strategic Development and Insight Team. Our Strategic Development and Insight Team leads the implementation and delivery of LSU’s Strategic objectives and champions data-driven research projects to continually ensure students are at the heart of our decision-making. 

The Head of Research and Insight will be responsible for developing and championing LSU’s research and insight function to create an evidence-based understanding of our student members by utilising existing and new data sources to support LSU, Elected Student Officers, and Staff to make informed, data-driven decisions. By identifying trends, patterns, and themes within data; the Head of Research and Insight will support the team in using the information gathered to improve the student experience and student life at Loughborough University and use of data and insights collected to drive change, embed a thriving data culture, and increase our data maturity. 

The position is offered on LSU Scale 9, currently £34,979 - £38,205 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) on an open-ended basis. Offers will be made at a pay point appropriate to the skill and experience of the successful candidate.
