Hours of work: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Responsible For: The three Membership Services areas (Activities, Advice and Representation) including line management of the Managers of these areas.
Place of work: Wrexham Students’ Union, Plas Coch Campus, Wrexham, LL11 2AW
Salary: £35,879
Length of contract: Full Time, Permanent
Purpose of the Role
The role includes all existing responsibilities as per your individual job description at WSU.
In addition to the existing responsibilities the role will include:
- Line management of Membership Services Managers and responsibility for the staff they manage.
- Driving growth in the membership service areas (Activities, Advice and Representation) in line with the ambitions of our strategy.
- Deputising for the CEO when necessary.
- Supporting the organisation on the development and delivery of its strategy.
- Supporting the full-time officers with induction and achieving manifesto aims, linking the officers with the membership services team.
- Developing reports for various committees and presenting those where appropriate.
- Managing the membership services budget (circa £60k)
- Lead the membership services team on key projects within the organisation such as SU Awards, Varsity, Elections and elements of welcome week.

It will no doubt be a significant undertaking however and we are looking for someone who will be able to manage this shift in gear.
