Join Our Trustee Board
We’re looking for three External Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of our Students’ Union.
Are you looking for a meaningful way to volunteer your expertise? Do you want to make a real difference in a fast-paced, inclusive, and student-focused environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you - or from someone you’d like to recommend.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:
- Finance
- HR
- Legal
- Strategic leadership
Experience within a Students’ Union or Higher Education setting would be valuable, but is not essential - we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives to our work.
What’s involved?
As a Trustee, you’ll play a key role in guiding the organisation and ensuring we deliver for our students. The commitment includes:
- Approximately 4 Board meetings per year
- Around 4 sub-committee meetings per year
Trustees are appointed for a four-year term, giving you time to build relationships, develop a deep understanding of the organisation, and see the impact of your contribution.
