Main duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to support the CEO and organisation through their knowledge and experience to support the decision-making process of the Board by bringing their expertise to the role across their tenure. This will also include attending approximately 6 meetings a year which will mainly be held online with 2 in-person only.
Whilst the job description identifies specific details of experiences and attributes required for the role, we recognise that everyone’s career history can vary. Post Criteria
This post is an unpaid position and are on a voluntary basis. Appropriate expenses will be paid in line with the expenses policy.
Please see the below eligibility criteria as set out by the Charities Act. Any applicant will be disqualified from taking up the role if:
- You are under 18 years of age
- You have been convicted of an offence involving dishonesty or deception that is not regarded a legally spent
- You have ever been removed from office as a charity by a Court or by the Charity Commission
- You have been disqualified under the Company Directors Disqualification Legislation
- You have made compositions with any creditors from which you have not been discharged
