Job Description

Worcester Students’ Union is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking individual to join our Board as an External Trustee, with a strong background in retail or commercial development.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key strategic role in shaping the Union’s commercial activities, helping to drive sustainable growth and enhance the student experience. You’ll bring valuable insight into income generation, business development, and customer-focused services, supporting our ambition to deliver innovative and financially robust operations.

As a Trustee, you will provide independent oversight, contribute to long-term planning, and ensure the Union operates in line with its charitable objectives.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can offer expertise in retail strategy, commercial partnerships or enterprise development.

This voluntary role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact, develop governance experience and work alongside a passionate team dedicated to supporting students.
