Are you a dynamic and creative communications professional looking to make a significant impact? City St George’s Students’ Union is seeking a Design and Web Coordinator to join our Communications and Brand Team. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of a coherent narrative for the organisation, enhance our communications channels, and ensure the Union is represented effectively through its visual and verbal identity.

Key Responsibilities đꔑ

  • Creative Design: Produce high-quality promotional materials across digital, social, and print media, including infographics, brochures, and other print materials.
  • Project Management: Plan, support, and deliver all Union design materials, ensuring compliance with branding guidelines and tracking progress.
  • Innovative Communication: Engage members through creative strategies and designs across all platforms, both in-person and online.
  • Website Management: Lead the Union website, regularly updating content, developing the content management system, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with staff, clients, and external parties to create targeted campaigns and maintain strong relationships.
  • Training & Support: Provide training for staff and student leaders on website and content management systems.

What We’re Looking For đź‘€

  • Communications Experience: Proven experience in designing, delivering, and managing effective communications campaigns across various media platforms.
  • Web Design Skills: Proficiency in web design, including Figma, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of individuals within and outside the Union.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site 4+ days a week during term time.
