Job Description

We are looking for an Activities and Representation Coordinator to join our team, based at our City Centre & City South Campuses. The Activities and Representation Coordinator is responsible for developing, supporting and working with some of our most engaged students including society leaders and student representatives.  

Working as part of the Activities & Representation team you will be planning engaging events, encouraging society memberships and helping to support students throughout their time at BCU. Our preferred candidate will have experience of supporting or facilitating the work of students or volunteers and we are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of working with faith and culture societies in a university setting. 

However, the key attributes required are the ability to work well within a team, have good time management and be confident in approaching and engaging with students.

Principle purpose of job:

  • Delivery of agile managed projects to increase student participation in engagement activities
  • Develop Student Leadership, Activism, Student Group Development and Academic Representation
  • Administration support in the delivery of projects

Hours

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Location and times of work:

Main place of work City Centre and City South with the expectation to work and visit other campuses when needed. Occasional working outside of standard hours
