We are seeking a new member of our HR subcommittee to support the work of both NUS and NUS Charity by overseeing their HR strategy and performance We need members who can support a strong and high performing workforce, ensuring NUS Charity can exist and thrive in the future.
What do committee members do?
The HR Committee is a subcommittee of the NUS and NUS Charity Boards with a responsibility for HR strategy across the two organisations.. As a committee member you will review and oversee HR policies and procedures, induction procedures, continuity planning and any new strategies with HR implications.
This is an exciting time to volunteer with NUS and NUS Charity. 2021-22 has been an extraordinary year for students and students’ unions. As a HR Committee member you’ll get to see our work firsthand and have an active role in making sure we deliver value for money.
It’s an opportunity to hone your skills, meet new people and learn more about the fantastic work of our wonderful Students’ Union members.
We’ll give you a full induction, support you as a committee member and pay all reasonable out of pocket expenses.
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking to recruit the widest possible pool of talent to the HR Committee. We’re looking for applicants with a background or expertise in human resources, but more than we’re looking for people who actively live our values to be inclusive, collaborative and anti-oppression in everything we do.
