The venues team is an integral part of the Student’s Union, running and delivering high quality events and operations across 4 bars and 1 nightclub in the heart of Imperial College campuses in central London.
As part of rebuilding our new venues team we are currently looking for a positive and impassioned supporter to our Venues Operations Manager. Assisting in the day-to-day operational development of the Union, you will perform an integral role within the Venues management team, ensuring efficient delivery of excellent customer experience through the smooth running of our licensed trade venues. You will have outstanding creative and organisational skills, combining your knowledge of compliance within the hospitality sector with the developing and implementation of new insights that cater to each venue and demographic.
The successful candidate for this multifaceted role will be confident and motivational, able to inspire large teams, handle a meaningful budget and become better at building relationships with staff, suppliers, contractors and customers. Experience of running fast paced venues is highly desirable but more importantly than that is the drive and dedication to ensure our student members have the most positive and valued experiences from our organisation.
