Summary
The Venues Team at Goldsmiths Students’ Union are looking for a new staff member to play a vital role in the delivery of events in the new academic year. Using industry standard tools and techniques, the successful candidate will learn to assess and distribute the sound and lighting elements required for a range of events, including concerts, comedy nights, club nights, and art installations.

Job Description
To lead and commit to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of all Audio Visual
equipment in our inventory – with a focus on security, safety and maintenance.
2. To supervise our team of Student Technicians, ensuring they are appropriately trained in all
aspects of their role.
3. To contribute to the planning and implementation of live events in our venue spaces.
4. Ensure a consistent professional standard is maintained throughout all events and that we
deliver a high standard of service to all organisers (both students and external parties)
