Job Description
The RCASU exists to improve the overall experience for current and future students at the world-renowned Royal College of Art. We are seeking to recruit a new external trustee to our Board of Trustees.
We are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a background in senior finance management or accountancy. You do not necessarily have to be an accountant, but you should be able to demonstrate that you have skills and experience in financial scrutiny and decision making. Knowledge of charity law and the Charity Commission regulations would be desirable. An understanding of higher education would be beneficial, but the successful candidate must have a commitment to upholding the mission and values of the Students’ Union.
You should be passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of students and willing to help take the Union to the next level of success. You will help manage the strategy and finances of the organisation and be willing to work collectively to ensure that we will be able to deliver positive change for its members year after year.
