AboutThe Students’ Guild is the students’ union for students at the University of Exeter's Streatham and St. Luke’s campuses. The Guild exists to represent the voice of the student body to the University and works to ensure that every student gets the most out of their time at Exeter. Every student is automatically a member of the Students' Guild and can access all the services and opportunities that it provides.
The Students’ Guild at the University of Exeter is the students’ union, led by students for students. We represent over 25,000 students and enhance their unique journeys at the University of Exeter by:

We are a democratic membership organisation, and all students at the University of Exeter are automatically members of the Guild. The Students’ Guild sits at the heart of the student experience which encompasses representation, support services, student activities and volunteering. Our charitable purpose is the advancement of education of students at the University of Exeter for the public benefit.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Guild Activities Team as an Activities Coordinator supporting student activities and engagement at the University of Exeter.
Salary: Starting at, £19,209 per year
Hours: 36.5 per week
Days: Monday – Friday
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Location: Devonshire House, Streatham Campus, Exeter University
The Students’ Guild has a wide range of student-led activities which provide diverse opportunities for our members. This role supports students to create and deliver activities for the benefit of students at the University of Exeter. By providing training, resources and materials, the role will empower volunteers to have the skills to deliver a wide range of activities and initiatives in their role, including volunteering and fundraising, whilst also developing and maintaining systems and processes to enable the delivery of these activities.
The role will also lead on the development of new Give it a Go Programme, through creation of a variety of events and activities, aimed at enhancing participation and minimising barriers for a diverse student population plus, support the Activities Department in dealing with all other affiliated groups and delivering large department projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a passion for empowering and supporting student leaders in delivering student-led activities, ideally with experience in student opportunities, either paid or voluntary. You must have strong self-management and people skills. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role of student led activities and student led groups in society, with a focus on the impact of these activities.
