AboutCoventry University Students’ Union is a democratic, student-led organisation – we’re run by students, for students. All students at Coventry University and University College are automatically our members. We’re here to offer support, provide opportunities and represent students locally and nationally! Our mission : CUSU is a student led, active organisation that engages with, empowers and represents the diverse student population of Coventry University.
We are looking to recruit two Student Experience Coordinators for our Student Experience Team, who can increase student engagement in non-academic experiences including societies, events, campaigns and activities.
You will be a key point of contact between CUSU, Coventry University staff and students, supporting the development and promotion of school and faculty related activities, events and experiences. You will need to collaborate with all CUSU departments to develop and promote customised services and experiences for schools and faculties, and other designated campuses. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills combined with an ability to communicate well with people with different perspectives and knowledge is essential.
The successful candidates will have experience and understanding of modern media techniques and of improving engagement with hard to reach audiences both face to face and digitally. Experience of settling up and managing focus groups as well as writing and delivering effective presentations and reports is required. A Level 4 qualification in Communications/Marketing (or relevant qualification e.g. HNC, HND or Degree) or equivalent work experience is essential for this post.
These posts are permanent working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required. Please note that these posts will be working remotely initially, however when restrictions are lifted will be required to work on-site as required.
