AboutCoventry University Students’ Union is a democratic, student-led organisation – we’re run by students, for students. All students at Coventry University and University College are automatically our members. We’re here to offer support, provide opportunities and represent students locally and nationally! Our mission : CUSU is a student led, active organisation that engages with, empowers and represents the diverse student population of Coventry University.
You will be supporting Coventry University students to access training opportunities and resources to enable them to develop valuable employability skills. You will be responsible for the coordination of Employability Services projects, ensuring delivery meets the needs of students and/or employers.
You will have experience of working in a project or event management environment, including experience of coordinating online digital activities. You must also have some experience of presenting to large groups and of networking in order to build working relationships/partnerships.
You will need to be highly organised and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff from the university and students as well as employers.
The ideal candidate will be committed, self-motivated, and adaptable and be able to work with minimum supervision. You will have proficient skills in Microsoft applications and hold or be willing to work towards a project management qualification.
In return we offer a generous annual leave allowance, works pension scheme, a range of staff benefits and discounts and development opportunities. This post attracts a payment of £1000 to be paid over the 1st year of employment for the successful candidate.
This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week, however a flexible approach to working hours is required.
