AboutCoventry University Students’ Union is a democratic, student-led organisation – we’re run by students, for students. All students at Coventry University and University College are automatically our members. We’re here to offer support, provide opportunities and represent students locally and nationally! Our mission : CUSU is a student led, active organisation that engages with, empowers and represents the diverse student population of Coventry University.
We are an active and inclusive Union; delivering meaningful change for students across their experience. We are looking for a Campaigns & Communities Coordinator to support our department’s engagement activities including the delivery of campaigns, meetings, events, training and briefings, in order to increase engagement and maximise participation in our campaigns and activism work. This will include recruiting, training and supporting students, developing resources to support campaigns throughout the year.
You will also engage with community and university partners to identify and deliver a range of change making opportunities, particularly in the areas of student safety & welfare, sustainability and inclusion and wellbeing & mental health. You must have experience of working with students or young people and of developing campaigns and/or activism work.
The successful candidate with have a high level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence and the ability to engage with all students. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference within a supportive and high performance team.

This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required. Please note that as an organisation we are working towards an agile working model. This will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
