We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and committed individual who has a genuine interest in working with and supporting students at Coventry University. The successful post-holder will join our Students’ Union Advice Centre comprising of skilled and experienced advisors who are committed to contributing to improved outcomes for our students.
The post-holder will provide students with independent advice and guidance on a range of issues and academic matters, together with undertaking associated casework to analyse complex problems and recommend solutions. This role will have a particular focus on supporting students in relation to financial difficulties, therefore the ideal candidate will have significant experience of providing advice on a range of finance issues e.g. housing, debt, welfare benefits and student funding.
There will also be opportunities to support the development of the service and our campaigns and strategic activities.
This post is permanent working full-time 37.5 hours per week, a flexible approach to working hours is required. As an organisation we do have an agile working programme. For this role the successful candidate will be required to work on campus a minimum of 4 days a week during term time. This will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
