The purpose of the Chief Executive role is to ensure the effective and efficient strategic and operation management of the University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union, to drive income generation and to oversee all aspects of the services of the Students’ Union, in order to add value to the student experience at the University of Gloucestershire.
Under the direction of the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive is accountable for the management, development and longer term sustainability of the Students’ Union and for providing the highest level of support to the elected leadership.
The Chief Executive has direct responsibilities and accountabilities as a result of Gloucestershire SU’s charitable status with the Charity Commission and for ensuring compliance with requirements set out in Charity Law.
