Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join the team and oversee the running of our licensed spaces. The Bars Manager will be responsible for growing and maintaining the bar as a vibrant social hub for LSE’s student community. You will have a good understanding of emergent trends across the hospitality sector, especially amongst younger people.

Job Description

You will work with closely with the Entertainment & Events Manager to deliver a diverse, exciting and unique programme of entertainment and events throughout the year.

As the named DPS the Bars Manager will duty manage a variety of events – anywhere from large-capacity club nights to small-scale pop-ups, ensuring that all regulatory compliance is held to an exacting standard and guaranteeing a safe environment for everyone.

Founded in 1897, LSE Students’ Union is one of the oldest Students’ Unions in the UK. and is the representative and campaigning body for students at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).  Like other students’ unions, it also funds and facilitates student activities of campus, including societies, sports clubs through the Athletics Union (AU), the Media Group and Raising and Giving (RAG) charitable fundraising initiatives.
