Kitchen Assistant

Kings College Student Union, London, UK,, The key objective is to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness, according to current health and food hygiene legislation, at all times. The KP would be required to assist in the preparation, presentation and close down of any functions as arranged by the management of The Vault Bar and Kitchen. The primary function would be the sanitisation of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Other duties would be to daily clean down the kitchen upon closure, daily sweeping and washing the walls and floors, wiping down of all kitchen appliances and disposing of all kitchen waste, as well as the clearing up of accidental spillages. Weekly Kitchen Deep Cleans would be an integral part of the KP’s duties.


The KP would also be required to assist in the low skill preparation and low level cooking of food. The KP would also be required to carry and assist in the carrying, transfer and transport of any items or equipment received, used, manufactured and dispatched by the kitchen.
