The successful candidate will support students, reps and officers achieve the change they want to see on campus and beyond. They will have a keen interest training and development of others. They will develop and deliver a range of training and development opportunities for our student leaders. Alongside these responsibilities, they will lead on promoting positive wellbeing amongst our student community and support the delivery of RUSU’s annual programme of elections.
RUSU is a student-led charity that, together with running a nursery, supports and represents over 20,000 students at Reading. From providing advice on finance and housing, to running the biggest club nights in the city and everything in between, our purpose is to improve student life. The Student Engagement Coordinator will report to the Student Voice & Representation Manager and will be responsible for empowering our members, increasing engagement of students in RUSU democratic and representation structures, to strengthen RUSU’s influence as a representative and campaigning organisation.
