Student Engagement Administrator (Societies & Employability)

Queen Mary University Of London Students’ Union, Mile End Road, London, https://su.careers/?post_type=job_listing&p=1853, QMSU represents and supports over 18,000 students who make up the diverse and vibrant student body at Queen Mary, University of London. Over 5000 students are a member of at least one of the 250+ societies and over 200 student’s actively participate in the skills recognition programme. In addition, the Student Engagement Department is responsible for Raise and Give (RAG), Volunteering, Student Media, Employability and the two of the Unions buildings and receptions.

 

The post is a full time, permanent position. Starting salary will be £20,915 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance and raises 1 point annually as set out in the QM Pay and Grading Structure. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, plus university closure days, defined benefit pension scheme, free gym membership and an interest-free season ticket loan.

 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme
